If you have special dietary requirements\, please advise during registration.\nBYO thermos if you want a hot drink. There are well maintained toilet facilities here. \nThere is no café at the picnic area – so grab your morning caffeine fix at your departure point.\nCOST:\nMembers: Free\nNon-Members: $10   (or… join on the day)\n2 Departure Points – Cowan & Wyong\n👉 Click Here to Register Online\nDeparting Cowan\n1 – Sydney Z’s – Cowan Truckstop – Depart 8:15am\nArrive from 8:00am for 8:15 departure\, via Old Pacific Hwy \nStage 1\nCowan to Peats Ridge \nHead north from the parking area\, and remain on the Pacific Hwy – Do Not Enter the Freeway!\nFollow to end at Calga\, 25km\n⚠Turn right at lights to remain on Pacific Hwy. Follow for 200mtrs. (See below)\nTurn Left at Calga onto Peats Ridge Rd. Pass under M1 motorway\, road will do a left hand loop at the freeway interchange before heading north\nFollow Peats Ridge Rd north to Peats Ridge. 12kms. \nCoffee Stop! Opposite Ampol\, Peats Ridge is 47 Oaks Cafe. Enter carpark and grab a coffee. \nStage 2 – Depart by 9:15\nPeats Ridge to Mangrove Creek Dam \nContinue north on Peats Ridge Rd.\n300 mtrs north the Ampol petrol station at Peats Ridge\, keep left\, and take the slip lane onto George Downs Dr to Central Mangrove.\nFollow George Downs Dr for 13kms through Central Mangrove and Kulnura.\n1 km after passing Jerry’s Cafe\, Kulnura\, turn left onto Kyola Rd.\nFollow for 4 kms\, turn right onto Mangrove Creek Dam Rd.\nFollow for 5 kms to picnic area. \nClick Map to open \n \nCalga lights\, be sure to turn right here\, or you will be heading back to Sydney on the M1\n \n  \nDeparting Wyong\n2 – Central Coast & Newcastle Z’s – Wyong Milk Factory – Depart 8:45am\nArrive from 8:15 for 8:45 departure\, via Yarramalong Rd\nGrab your morning coffee here and pick up a donut or chocolates before departing for breakfast at Mangrove Creek Dam.\nThere is no coffee shop at the destination.\nHead west from the parking area onto Alison Rd\, cross over the motorway and follow Yarramalong Rd to Yarramalong. 17km\nTurn left at Bumble Hill Rd for a climb to the top of the ridge. 5km\nTurn right onto Greta Rd (Follow sign for “The Paintball Place”) Follow to end. 2km\nTurn right onto George Downs Drive. Follow for 2.5km\nTurn Left onto Kyola Rd follow for  4 kms\nTurn right onto Mangrove Creek Dam Rd.\nFollow for 5 kms to picnic area. \nClick Map to open \n \nParking\nThere are 15 parking spaces in the picnic area. Once those are full\, overflow parking is on the side of the road.\nProceed into the picnic area loop road\, and park if there are any spaces there.\nIf the carpark is full\, continue around the loop and exit the carpark\, then park on the left side of the road after passing the carpark gate.\nThe shoulder is wide enough to allow for 45° parking. \n
