DESCRIPTION:Albion Park via Fitroy Falls\nRegister Here\nMain Departure Point\nAmpol Pheasants Nest\nM31 Southbound\n\nArrive by 7:45am\, leave 8:00am Sharp!\nPheasants Nest Service Centre has restrooms\, food and fuel.\nIf you want breakfast\, fuel or coffee arrive with enough time to leave by 8:00am\nDrivers coming from the south can enter the northbound service centre and then cross to the southbound side via the freeway underpass\, or proceed to the Wilton exit\, 6km north\, and return (add 10 minutes to your trip time). \n  \nStop 1 – Fitzroy Falls\n1st Stop Arrive 9am. Depart 10am \nhttps://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/fitzroy-falls\nTake a wander around the visitor centre where snacks and coffee are available. Take a short walk along the boardwalk to the fabulous views of the Fitzroy Falls and Yarrunga Valley.\nParking is $4 \n  \nStop 2 – HARS Aviation Museum\n2nd Stop Arrive 11am. Museum tour $30 \nhttps://hars.org.au/\nHome of the famous 747 Longreach “City of Canberra”\, club member & aviation enthusiast Chris Hebbard\, has arranged something special for the Z Car Club. \nTours will commence around 11:30\, with a break for lunch. \n  \nSection 1 – Pheasants Nest to Fitzroy Falls – Depart 8:00am\nDistance: 53km         Estimated Time: 60 mins\n \n(Click Map to Open in Google Maps) \n\nDepart Service Centre heading south and merge onto the motorway.\nAfter 4km take the Avon Dam Rd exit for Bargo/Tahmoor\nTurn right onto Avon Dam Rd and cross the freeway\nAt the round-a-bout turn left onto Lupton Rd. Follow to end. 1km\nTurn left onto Rememberance Dr. Follow for 1km\nTurn right to remain on Old Hume Hwy (Tourist Drive 12\, Yanderra / Yerrinbool)\nFollow for 12 kms\, passing back under the freeway and Yerrinbool\nTurn left onto Old South Rd. Follow for 10kms\nAt round-a-bout\, turn left onto Range Rd. Follow to end. 8kms\nTurn right onto Tourist Rd. Follow to end. 600mtrs\nTurn left onto Kangaloon Rd (becomes Sheepwash Rd). Follow for 6kms\nCross the Illawarra Hwy and continue on Sheepwash Rd. Follow to end. 8kms\nTurn left onto Nowra Rd. Follow for 1km.\nTurn left into Fitzroy Falls visitor centre\n\n  \nParking is $4 or Free for NPWS Annual pass holders.\nThere are toilets and kiosk facilities in the visitor centre.\nThere is also a café\, although it is under new ownership and it is uncertain if this will reopen by the time of our visit – however coffee and snacks are available in the centre. \n  \nSection 2 – Fitzroy Falls to Albion Park Rail – Depart 10:00am\nDistance: 45km         Estimated Time: 50 mins\n \n(Click Map to Open in Google Maps) \n\nDepart visitor centre and turn left onto Sheepwash Rd. Follow for 1.3kms\nTurn left onto Myra Vale Rd towards Robertson. Follow for 8kms\nTurn left onto Pearsons Lane towards Robertson. Follow to end. 5kms\nTurn right onto Illawarra Hwy (A48) towards Robertson.\nRemain on Illwarra Hwy\, pass through Robertson and Macquarie Pass. 29kms\nAt Albion Park Rail\, turn left into Station Rd.
