The annual National Motoring Heritage Day is back for 2025!

This year the club is planning 2 runs, giving members the choice of either entering the Berry Show & Shine, or taking a cruise to Berry as a spectator.

 Option 1 – Enter the Show

Heathcote Railway Station, Princes Hwy. 6:00am Departure

Head South-west on Princess Highway/A1

Continue on to M1 following signs to Wollongong

53.5km Keep right to stay on M1

Take the second exit for Gerringong

After exiting the M1 turn left into the

Service road for Gerringong Train Station Car park

 

Rendezvous – Gerringong Train Station Car park

Regroup at Gerringong Station

Joining the ACT, South Coast and Sydney groups

Departure time 7.25am

Coordinate and queue in year model order

 

Short drive back onto the M1 towards Berry (11km), take the Berry turnoff.

Arrive at Berry Showground 7.40am

$20 Cash per car (driver +1) required at the gates No EFTPOS

 

Over 600 cars normally turn up for this event, gates close for entry at 8.30am

 

Option 2 – Cruise to the Show

Pheasants Nest to Berry via Robertson Pie Shop and Kangaroo Valley

Arrive by 8:15 for 8:30. Arrive earlier if you want food or coffee
(If arriving from the south, enter the Northbound service centre, and use the freeway underpass to cross to the Southbound side.)

Section 1 – Pheasants Nest to Robertson – Morning Tea @ Robertson Pie Shop 🥧☕🍰
Depart 8:30am ETA 9:30am – 58kms

  • Depart Service Centre heading south and merge onto the motorway.
  • After 4km take the Avon Dam Rd exit for Bargo/Tahmoor
  • Turn right onto Avon Dam Rd and cross the freeway
  • At the round-a-bout turn left onto Lupton Rd. Follow to end. 1km
  • Turn left onto Rememberance Dr. Follow for 1km
  • Turn right to remain on Old Hume Hwy (Tourist Drive 12, Yanderra / Yerrinbool)
  • Follow for 12 kms, passing back under the freeway and Yerrinbool
  • Turn left onto Old South Rd. Follow for 10kms
  • At round-a-bout, turn left onto Range Rd. Follow to end. 8kms
  • Turn left onto Tourist Rd. Follow for 9kms
  • Turn right onto Kirkland Rd. Follow to end. 3.5kms
  • Turn left onto Kangaloon Rd. Follow to end. 3kms
  • Turn left onto Illawarra Hwy/Hoddle St. Follow for 3kms
  • Robertson Pie Shop on left opposite Jamberoo Mountain Rd

 

Section 2 – Robertson to Berry via Kangaroo Valley – Lunch @ Berry 🍔🍺🥤🍟
Depart 10:15am ETA 11:15 – 54kms

  • Depart Pie shop returning towards Robertson. 5.4kms
  • Turn left onto Pearsons Lane (Wildes Meadow) Follow to end. 5kms
  • Turn right onto Myra Vale Rd (Fitzroy Falls) Follow to end. 15kms
  • Turn left onto Nowra Rd (Kangaroo Valley) Follow for 19kms
  • Turn left ont Kangaroo Valley Rd (Berry) Follow for 15kms
  • Cross freeway overpass continue straight onto Queen St Berry
  • Take the 3rd right onto Albany St
  • Showground is 2 blocks down on the left
